MOG Community Women’s Retreat

CLICK HERE to view/download our brochure with registration form. We will be returning to the Loyola Retreat House, overlooking the Potomac River in beautiful Faulkner, Maryland. This will be a special weekend, with the Church celebrating the Feast of the Queenship of Mary on Saturday.

We are blessed to have Fr. James Brent, O.P. as our retreat leader this year. Father will be leading our reflections throughout our retreat weekend. Our theme this year is “Return to the Heart” taking inspiration from Proverbs 4:23 “Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” Come away with us as we bring our hearts to draw closer to the Heart of Jesus. We will have time for praise and personal prayer, graced preaching, Mass, and time for confession and adoration. A collection will be taken up in support of Fr. Brent’s ministry to us and others.

Fr. Brent earned his S.T.L. from the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception, and taught in the School of Philosophy at The Catholic University of America. He is presently on the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC, and frequently gives lectures for the Thomistic Institute. He also has a robust presence online.

Our retreat runs from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch.
