Encounter School of Ministry
Mother of God Community is the local Washington, D.C., Satellite Campus for Encounter School of Ministry (ESM), Brighton, Michigan. The ESM D.C. Satellite Campus reaches the two-hour radius of the metro Maryland, D.C., and Virginia area, and offers weekly classes to equip and activate area Catholics in the use of supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit. MOG Community members are on its leadership team, including the Director. Encounter School of Ministry, with more than thirty satellite campuses, each approved by the local bishop, is designed and established from the heart of Encounter Ministries and draws from the richness of our Catholic identity and heritage. ESM seeks to teach, equip, and activate disciples to demonstrate the love of God through the power of the Holy Spirit in their spheres of influence.

Its eight-quarter curriculum includes the following:

In July, the Summer Intensive Course is also offered, which introduces the first year curriculum over 4 consecutive evening sessions.
