2020 National Prayer Summit
December 21, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
The Mother of God Community is convening a National Prayer Summit during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (January 18-25). The purpose of the Prayer Summit is to ask God for a revival across our nation by taking the time to humble ourselves together as one people in Christ Jesus. We will ask for God’s mercy on us, the Church, and the whole nation. The event will be run by several leaders including Pastor Lonny Bringham of San Diego, CA, son of Prayer Summit founder, Reverend Ray Bringham.
We are dedicating time to seek God through the Biblical prayer of 2 Chronicles 7:14 where God promises the healing and restoration of our land if his people would humble themselves and turn from sin. Inspired by this prayer, the day will include praise and worship, dynamic preaching and a new call to repentance for our sins against the Lord and for our lack of seeking his face and his Word.
This will be a Catholic and Ecumenical Summit proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are also praying for unity among the Christian denominations and peoples. Come join us as we pray for conversion and revival!
